MARGATE, FL (October 20, 2023) – We Florida Financial, a cooperatively owned, not-for-profit credit union, has donated $25,000 to the American Friends of Magen David Adom (AFMDA), Israel’s National Emergency Medical Service, in support of Israel relief efforts and has launched an on-going campaign that donates an additional $18 for every new credit union account opened using the code “Relief.”

The funds raised via the $18 “Relief” campaign will go directly to AFMDA to support its mission in providing disaster relief, ambulance, blood services and emergency services aid in Israel to those impacted by the recent devastating events taking place in Israel. The commitment of $18 is symbolic in the Jewish culture, derived from the Hebrew word “chai,” which means “life.”
