With more of our elders becoming targets of scammers, the U.S. Department of Justice’s Office for Victims of Crime instituted the National Elder Abuse Fraud Hotline for people to report fraud against anyone age 60 or older.

As I sat in the Physical Therapy hospital waiting room, I watched the others. The middle aged woman in great discomfort, one arm in a soft cast, the old man with vacant eyes, attended by his disinterested companion, the young child wheelchair bound with shriveled limbs, confined perhaps since birth. Global Good." emphasizes credit unions' positive impact in their communities locally and around the world.
At a time when global crises abound and tensions between countries are at an all-time high, the recent international conference of Caribbean and North American credit unions was a welcome relief and a model of cross cultural cooperation. This meeting was the result of a joint effort of the CCCU (Caribbean Conference of Credit Unions) and US based CUES (the Credit Union Executive Society). The conference was held at the end of June in the Bahamas.
